Limited Lifetime Warranty

 

This warranty covers all blind products fabricated by

Lone Star Shutters

 

Lone Star Shutters (LSS) warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship to the original purchaser. If any product is proven to be defective, then LSS will repair or replace the product at its discretion, when said product is returned at customer’s expense to LSS. A copy of the original sales receipt must accompany the returned product.

 

Please note that manufacturer’s recommendations must be followed for certain large sizes that require multiple blinds on a headrail to be warranted. Grain patterns and slight warpage may occur and are considered acceptable. Slight variations in colors and pigments are also characteristics of our products resulting in variances from lot to lot, sampling, or previous purchases. These items are normal attributes of our products and as such are not covered under the warranty.

 

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or any damage or loss caused by misuse or abuse, improper installation or use for which the product was not designed or intended as determined by LSS. It also does not apply to any damage from fire, flood, or any other acts of God. All materials can lose original intensity after prolonged exposure to the sun. PVC and plastics tend to discolor and crack after extended exposure to direct sunlight. Cords will wear out after a period of time. These are all examples of items that are not covered under this warranty as they are considered normal wear and tear. Discontinued products are specifically excluded from warranty coverage.

 

Repair or replacement of the defective product is the sole remedy under this warranty, and in no event shall we be liable for transportation costs to or from the dealer; any expenses incurred in the removal and reinstallation of the product; any cartons broken or marred; or any other accessories used in connection with the product; or any incidental or consequential damages due to a defect in the product. The warranty will be in effect for products installed according to specifications and in a climate controlled environment. In order for this warranty to remain in effect, LSS or its authorized agents must perform all service. To obtain service contact the dealer from which the product was purchased.

 

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which may vary from state to state.
